Rebecca is a client-focussed family lawyer who is regarded as empathetic and hard-working. She is passionate about assisting clients to navigate the legal system, promoting a positive approach to post-separation life, with a focus on resolving family law matters quickly and efficiently.
A Gold Coast local, Rebecca graduated from All Saints Anglican School and completed a Bachelor of Communications at Griffith University. Before her career as a lawyer, Rebecca had extensive experience in marketing and public relations working both locally and abroad. Key highlights include positions as a public relations executive at a London agency followed by a key communications role at the Gold Coast Suns during the AFL team’s start-up phase.
Rebecca turned to post-graduate studies to pursue her passion of helping people, making the bold move to complete her Master of Laws (Juris Doctor) at Monash University. In search of a truly meaningful career, Rebecca thrives on helping clients and has varied experience including roles at a Barristers Chambers, Women’s Legal Service, Community Legal Service and a Youth Justice Centre. Rebecca completed the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law, has practiced exclusively in family law on the Gold Coast and is motivated to become an Accredited Specialist.
Rebecca was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia in 2017 and joined Caldwell Family Lawyers in August 2018.
